Clear, concise writing makes a difference in every high school and college course, and direct, confident writing is necessary for almost every job. Unfortunately, no one is born great writing skills; the skills develop over time with practice, examples, and good teachers. When people are missing one or more of these things, their writing skills will suffer, but with time, effort, and the right help, anyone can learn how to write more easily and effectively.
